💗 👩 A career-oriented website that I enjoy 👩💗

Hi, miss and classmates another week!💗 I chose LatFem because is a webpage that has a feminist and intersectional approach, that is to say, that the center of its journalism is dedicated to delivering news about women, bringing them to the forefront. They also have a focus on gender, class and race inequalities. And on the activist agenda of the local, regional and global feminist movement.

It is also necessary to highlight that it is focused on Latin America and the Caribbean, therefore the entire team of professionals composed of journalists, communicators, writers, researchers, photographers, illustrators and designers, are Latin American women feminist activists.

For me, this is what attracted me to the website that it is only women's news which is treated by only women journalists, media like this is necessary because we have very little space in the traditional media because there is no gender focus. And I really like the site because they provide quality information, their platform is interactive, and their projects such as LATFEMlab, open writing, give it a greater relevance as a medium to highlight the role of women in different areas.

But more than anything is that all their work is free, I appreciate their effort to accommodate us as a genre, you can even sign up for free to their Newsletters section and they provide you with the mail material every month. I don't visit the site that often but I do keep an eye on her journalistic work from her Instagram @latfemnoticias.

I recommend to all my colleagues who are feminists and who believe in a press with a gender approach to visit this site because it is a great teaching to learn in a better way how to deal with the news from the perspective of women.
